We are seeking a suitably qualified person to take on the newly created role of Executive Manager – Corporate Services. This position is a senior management position working 0.8 FTE (minimum 4 days a week with flexibility for the right candidate) within a purpose-driven team and reporting directly to the Managing Director.

The Position 

The Executive Manager – Corporate Services will operate strategically as part of the Executive Management team. This is a broad role in a small but expanding environment and has primary responsibility for the following business areas and the associated risk management activities:

  • Finance, Administration and Legal.
  • People and Culture.

The position also has the delegated responsibility to assist in the design, manage and monitor the area of:

  • Corporate Governance with the Board maintaining responsibility for the business area.

The role will be part-time and primarily based at our head office in Warabrook, NSW, with a flexible working arrangement considered. This role has been created to support the business owners who currently perform these functions and it is well supported by a strong team.

The Person 

We are seeking someone who has a growth mindset, who understands the value of a team, who is able to lead and has strong communication skills. We want you to demonstrate to us how you use initiative, collaborate with others and deal with challenges.

You should have

  • Appropriate qualifications in Accounting or Business with at least 5 years experience at the executive level.
  • An understanding of the relationship between corporate strategy, risk management and the performance of the role.
  • Experience in financial management including managing monthly and end of year financial reporting.
  • Experience empowering and motivating a team.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret financial and non-financial data.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve issues and resolve conflict.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional desirable attributes include:

  • Experience working in the IT sector or project-based service industry.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
