The Situation

During original conversations with Cutcher & Neale in 2015, it was discovered that their technology environment was supported by a stand-alone internal resource.

Due to a strong period of growth, it became apparent that the internal resource did not have the technical acumen required at the time, and so Diamond IT recommended a strategic ‘top-up’ approach to support and complement the existing IT technician. Soon after this, the internal structure of Cutcher & Neale evolved, and Diamond IT became the sole provider of technology solutions and IT support.

 

The Solution

Cutcher & Neale has benefited from the following services since partnering with Diamond IT:

  • Managed IT Services, including two full-time onsite resources.
  • Cloud services, both private and public (Azure).
  • Internet services via our ‘DNet’ product offering.
  • Licensing of Office 365 and other Microsoft solutions.
  • A range of security solutions including Managed firewalls and Endpoint Detection and Response.
  • Consultancy services, such as the development of an Incident Response Plan, and Disaster Recovery Plan.

 

Quality Outcomes

The implementation of a holistic Managed Services Agreement, as well as the placement of two full-time onsite resources, allowed Cutcher & Neale’s technology environment to be proactively monitored, and their day-to-day technology needs promptly actioned with expert knowledge. The move to Diamond IT‘s cloud solution greatly improved the reliability, performance, and connectivity of their internet services.

Routine discussions with their dedicated Business Technology Manager have provided an ongoing forum to discuss technology optimisation and the development of a strong, strategic technology roadmap to support their ongoing success.
